Mekanism gave carte blanche to creative English duo Warren Du Preez and Nick Thornton Jones for its first collaboration of 2006.
Based in London, they work together since 1998 in their own studio. Warren Du Preez is a photographer and Nick Thornton Jones a creative director.
Resolutely turned towards the future, the Londoner duo uses surprising process giving new resonances to the image. Their quest of modernity brought them to work for Björk, Massive Attack, Unkle or Issey Miyake. Their work is featured in Gas Book n°14.

For this collaboration they conceived a unique black and white mutating disruptive pattern creating an optical illusion.

This skateboard is a limited-edition of 100 numbered copies.
